Mila's Lechon Finally Gave Their Official Statement To Give Light About A Recent Incident


Recently a netizen claimed that he got a delivery expecting that the lechon would be good but that wasn't the case he said that he got a dry, hard and thin lechon and this made him angry that he posted this on Facebook.

Last Dec 24 nag order kmi ng lechon sa Milas via Online. maganda naman po usapan. 7500 price 400 delivery charge Good for 60-70 pax... and then nadeliver po si Lechon.
pag dating po binayaran nmin walang resibo binigay umalis si Rider... nung binuksan po nmin nakakadismaya Butot balat. kita na ribs ng baboy. tapos sobrang dry and makunat. after po sa galit ng mga tita q tinimbang nmin halos d pa umabot sa 5kilos kasama pa kawayan patungan...
nag reklamo kmi sa milas nakausap nmin mismo ung apo ng owner sabi sa usapan (nakarecord) babalik nila ung pera nmin 5500. bukas daw dec 25 at kainin nmin ung lechon. sa madaling salita naghintay po kmi mag umaga. tapos nag tx kmi sa apo ng milas papadala daw nila ng hapon 4pm, pero afyer 4pm wlang pera at reply. gabi na nag tx. wala daw ung rider hindi pumasok pero nung tinawagan ko po ung rider nung dec 28 sabi nya Dec 25 palang ng umaga binigay nya na ung bayad nmin. napaka sinungaling ni Aika. tapos inabot papo ng dec 29 ung pakikipag usap namin sa refund. nag padala nga 3500 lng kaya d po nmin kinuha. now we will ask for for help na paki share po tong post ko ng makita ng ibang tao at maging aware sila sa pag order ng lechon lalong lalo na sa milas lechon... we will file a case against them sooner or later if they not cooperate with us. thank u sa mag se share..

Now here is the official statement of mila's lechon regarding this matter, according to the OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF MILA’S LECHON the initial investigation had already been done and said that the customer did not order from any official website or page from Mila's Lechon.

We are all victims of this occasion.
This is both unfair to the involved party and our company. Mila's Lechon established the brand for 50 years now, and shall not be stained by any scammer. The mentioned contact person's name of the customer was proven that her identity could have probably been used by the scammer to transact orders.
We are also informed of the different pages that use our brand but we could not bring them down. We also received complaints from a different company name using our brand to transact their orders, and upon delivery, provide with no receipts. Mila’s Lechon is professional enough to make sure receipts are provided. As to the packaging, it is highly likely that scammers can copy and make re-prints. We are not condoning nor tolerating such practice contrary to what we have established for the last fifty years. - [MILA’S LECHON]

After an initial investigation, the said customer did not order from any official website or page from Mila's Lechon.

We would like to assure the public that Mila’s Lechon adheres to providing consistent and high-quality products.

This is not the first time that this happened, some sellers sell via different buy and sell pages online. Physically as well, there are establishments using the brand "Mila’s Lechon" such as those from Batangas, Laguna, Cebu, and many more. Mila's Lechon already filed a case to some unofficial stores, however existing fake online shops could not be apprehended.

In addition, Mila’s Lechon requires deposits - you have to make sure that the details are named after the company or named after a real manager when had to be done thru other means, which entailed validity from banks and the right officials.

As to the blog sites, we already messaged, please make sure to get your facts straight, people believe in you and you have to make sure you state the truth or have investigated on the case before sharing. The case has already been dealt with the involved party. He already posted his public apology before deleting his main post online. Let us all be diligent enough to research and not simply comment nor speculate. In social media, all of us are intelligent representatives of the country for we influence one another. Let us not be naive by uninvestigated hypothesis. Let us be observant and smart shoppers. Thus, online shopping does not have to be difficult if you are critical enough - placing orders on the right site.
