Rusted Can Buried Underground Contains Gold Coins
A couple was living on their property for many years now and little do they know that there is buried treasure in the ground.
The couple was walking on their property with their dog and have taken the same path many times but in this particular walk there, something different they saw a rusty can that is poking out of the ground that they chose to look and see what could be inside.
The couple was named only Mary and John because of security purposes as well as privacy. John then tried to pick up the can but it was well stuck in the dirt so he then used a piece of wood to pry it from the ground.
After getting it out they had trouble carrying it to their house because it was heavy then the lid cracked open revealing the edge of a gold coin.
Seeing and knowing whats inside they decided to get some tools to help them search for more in the area where they found the can and about a foot away from where the first can was discovered they found another can that contains more gold coins.
With their efforts, they totally found eight cans that are filled with 1,427 coins. The face value of the coins was totaled to be $27,980 but then was assessed to be worth $10 million.
The treasure they found contains $27,460 in twenty-dollar coins, $500 in ten-dollar coins, and $20 in five-dollar coins that are all dating back 1847 to 1894.
Wow! now I'm feeling that I need to do some walking with my dog and maybe stumbling upon some treasure too. Well, its free to dream. All in all, it was really an amazing find.
