Ara Marie Cristine Reyes-Khatibi is a Filipina actress. She became a contestant of GMA's reality TV program, StarStruck. She is managed by Viva Artists Agency and a contract artist of ABS-CBN.
Reyes has since taken part in different ABS-CBN shows, including Kahit Isang Saglit (2008) and the eponymous title role in Eva Fonda (2009)
Reyes gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Amarah with her boyfriend Ali Khatibi, a mixed martial artist, in February 2015. She proposed engagement with Khatibi on 14 September 2015.
The couple married in a private ceremony on 27 January 2016, in Balesin Island, Polillo, Quezon.
Recently, Cristine Reyes denies speculation that her marriage to Ali Khatibi is on rocks.
The rumors started with Cristine’s IG post, which said: “Dear God, I pray for my marriage right now. "Please guard my relationship with my husband and protect us against elements that tempt or taunt us to ruin what we have.
“Convict our hearts when we are wrong or un-righteous, fill us with a passion to get better and bless us with a deep love for each other in Jesus name AMEN,”
She clarified that she only reposted the quote from Pinterest.
“Actually, di ko alam kung bakit siya naging isyu. "Kasi, actually, I just got it from Pinterest, so parang... I don’t know why people made a big deal out of it.
