Little Puppy Abandoned At The Airport With A Heartbreaking Note - Boy Trending

Very often we see pet owners abandoning their pets at various place due to many reasons, but this one will really make you cry.

Meet Chewy, a 3-month-old cream colored Chihuahua who was found injured and left alone inside a Las Vegas airport. But before you jump to conclusion and judge his owner, just be aware that the pup was left with the following heartbreaking note.

“Hi! I’m Chewy! My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to get on the flight. She didn’t want to leave me with all her heart but she has NO other option. My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog when were fighting and he has a big knot on his head. He probably needs a vet. I love Chewy sooo much – please love and take care of him.”

Chewy was so lucky as one kind person found him and brought him to Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue. That was where the founder of the shelter, Linda Gilliam, first learned of Chewy’s story. Linda told The Dodo,

“My heart dropped to my knees, I didn’t hesitate to accept him and instructed my foster to immediately get him to an ER.”

Chewy’s story shows the difficult situation of pet owners in an abusive relationship.

“This is a very overlooked issue as a whole, we also wanted to try and get the message to Chewy’s mom that she did a brave thing and that he is safe and will have a great life.”
