WATCH: This Lady Blocks The Road And Illegally Collects Cash From Tourists
A Facebook post that went viral because of extortion.
According to the author, they were on their way to a river at Norzagaray. Until they met a stop. According to him, you need to pay in order to pass through. The entrance fee costs around 100 to 200 pesos. But that's not all, you will encounter 4 stops.
They have this rope that blocks the roadway. According to the video, the barangay officials are aware of this extortion. It's illegal to collect payment for entrance fee because it should be free. Or it should be at least cheap.
Based on his Facebook post's comments, they're doing this for several of years now without the knowledge of local government. The stop is located at Norzagaray along the way of Bakas.
Each Person that will enter from the other side of their rope should pay. And there are no exemptions. Even if you're a señior citizen you are required to pay the fee.
