Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza or popularly known as Maine Mendoza is a Filipino actress, model, and endorser. She is also one of the most popular actresses of her generation after she was teamed up with the Kapuso actor Alden Richards
The 22-year-old actress has been also known as Yaya Dub on her role as Alden’s partner on Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye segment.
The two became popularly known as AlDub, a combination of Richard's first name and Mendoza's character in "Kalyeserye." Their pairing resulted to their wide exposure and to the further increase of the TV ratings of Eat Bulaga.
Recently, a video of her has been caught the attention of many social media users, especially her fans after someone punched her during "Sugod Bahay" segment.
In the video, it can be seen that the actress was clearly hurt as the person who attacked her seemed to have done it intentionally.
