The Real Story of the Indonesian Couple and It’s Truly Heart-Breaking
One story became a sensation during Valentines period. In a series of pictures, a man and a woman took selfies together since 2008.
A man from Indonesia named Deddy Setiawan uploaded pictures and video through his Instagram account @deddy_setiawan24.
Though the video is no longer available, the 1 minute and 14 seconds video clip displays the beginning of his love story with his ex-girlfriend since 2008.

Deddy was wearing a junior uniform while his girlfriend was wearing a Boy Scout uniform.
In 2009, they took a selfie where his ex-girlfriend leaned her head to Deddy’s should and he smiled sweetly.

In the following years, their relationship grew stronger and sweeter. By the year 2013, both of them become civil servants and Deddy’s girlfriend wears hijab.

All those years, you can see on their smiles that they are happy and very much in love.
A source stated that Deddy and his girlfriend ended their relationship in 2014 but admitted to still established a good friendship with his former girlfriend.

Then on 2018, his ex-lover got married and Deddy attended their wedding. You can see on the picture he stood beside the woman he once loved wholeheartedly.

Deddy revealed the reason why he left. He wrote “Why did he leave? Because I always pray to God to be given the best, and he is not the man. Later love to your son, that I was a stupid man who always acted silly just to make you laugh.”
At the end of his IG story, he writes “Rest assured, after the rain there will be a rainbow,”.
What a sad, heart-breaking story but at least they’re still friends.
