"Maangas Ka Na T*NGA" Erwin Tulfo's Comment On Pia Ranada's Action
Pia Ranada is a journalist. He is currently employed by Rappler and is a former writer of GMA network.
She became trending after President Rodrigo Roa Duterte got mad of her questions.
Recently, Rappler faced a case for broadcasting fake news. It started when Rappler broadcast about Bong Go's intervene in 50 million issue.
A few days ago, Pia Ranada got blacklisted in Malacañang gate by a PSG officer. Watch the full video here:
PSG is Presidential Security Group assigned to Malacañang Palace and provides the security of the President and Vice President of the Philippines and their family.
According to the PSG Officer, Pia Rañada can't enter the Malacañang Palace because it was the order of his commander. Pia Ranada got frustrated and questioned the officer while videotaping him.
However, Erwin Tulfo doesn't seem to like what Pia Ranada did. He posted a video on his official Facebook account and made a statement of his reaction from the video of Pia.
According to Erwin, He doesn't usually react to his co-journalist to its doings because of the Professional Courtesy. But because of some of his co-journalist doesn't know what is the cause of their doings or some of them are really foolish, he thinks that he has the moral responsibility to make it right.
He is referring to Pia Ranada's action on a video that he's questioning PSG Officer.
According to Erwin, PSG Officers are not trained to answer media questions. It's not their job. They are trained to comply with their commander's order. PSG Officers doesn't have the right to question the order of its superior.
