It makes your visitors drop their jaws when they see it. And it is also useful for someone who is disabled and/or elderly who can't use the stairs.
But not everyone can afford to have them since house elevators comes at a very high price.
These celebrities have upgraded their impressive house elevators which we learned from Kami.
Angelica Panganiban
Hugot Queen's house is located in an exclusive village in Quezon City which she bought in 2012.
In the August 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Philippines, Angelica revealed that she needs something to take her mind away from her recent break-up with Derek Ramsay and the newly purchased house helped her a lot.
"Nung nangyari 'yon [breakup], someone advised me na kailangan kong i-enjoy ito [singlehood], at hindi ko puwede gamitin ang ibang tao para mag-enjoy ako. So how would I enjoy? May nagsabi sa akin na, 'Di ba gusto mong bumili ng bahay? Maghanap ka ngayon. Doon mo ubusin ang oras mo."
On July 8, 2016, Angel Locsin revealed on her Instagram about the elevator on Angelica's house.
She wrote:
"may elevator sa bahay?! #abamayaman #picturanyan"
Joel Cruz
Joel Cruz's mansion in Baguio also tagged as "White House of the Lord of Scents," features an elevator inside.
Ruben Payumo, resident architect of CJH Development Corporation, was responsible for the mansion's design.
"the house also features a glass staircase, 13 bedrooms, a gym, makeup room, massage room, a pool, two dining areas, and a children’s play area."
Sharon Cuneta
Megastar's former home in Mandaluyong also had an elevator. When her mom got sick they had the elevator built for easy transfer from floor-to-floor.
Their home boasts of not just one elevator but two, plus a dumbwaiter in their kitchen.
They also have a separate guest house with a pool where KC Concepcion stayed.
Meanwhile, they already sold their house in Mandaluyong and lives in a two unit condominium in Makati City.
Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez
Regine and Ogie's 600-square-meter home also features an elevator.
Their three-storey house in Quezon City was renovated in 2013.
Regine bought the lot prior to their marriage and it was in 2010 when they started to build their dream home.
Ogie explained the reason for having the elevator during an interview with Rated K.
"Kaya po kami may elevator, dahil po nung may sakit po ang ama ni Regine.
"At, syempre, yong mga magulang ko rin, yong mommy ko ay nasa 85 na rin, tatay ko 83.
"Mataas po kasi itong bahay namin, so hindi sila basta-basta nakakataas [paakyat]."
"Andyan na rin po yung elevator, so baka na rin sa pagtanda namin, magamit namin yung elevator."
Zsa Zsa Padilla and Conrad Onglao
In November 2014, YES! magazine featured the modern Asian glass house of the couple in Makati City. They have been in the same roof since 2014.
According to Conrad, they use their stairs more often than the house elevator because it's more practical and also a form of exercise.
