This Couple Went Viral After Had A Wedding Photoshoot Inside An Active Volcano - Boy Trending
This couple, Danny Ong and Krystle Tee decided to do something extraordinary.
They sought the service of Malayasian photographer Keow Wee Loong, who is known for his extreme photoshoots.
"A couple asked me if I knew any mystical place to capture their wedding photo. I sad, 'say nomore, challenge accepted'," Keow wrote in his social media.
The location Keow selected for this couple is the Ijen volcano complex in Indonesia, famed for its stunning electric blue flame.
Obviously the spot isn't accessible by any vehiclem so the couple and the photographer had to hike for three hours to get the place. Beside, they were also constantly on the lookout for rangers to avoid getting caught and having their plans foiled.
Krstle's dress was slightly damaged from the hill-climb, but luckily she has another one sitting at home, whick will be used for her real wedding.
Capturing the perfect shot under low-light conditions through the thick smoke was tricky, but not for Keow. He said they could clearly feel the heat from the flames of the volcano.
The shoot also proved to be a challenging due to the volcanic fumes emanating from the area. It can be seen in the photos, the pair had to wear gas masks to protect themselves.
While the electric-blue flame of Ijen’s highly acidic crater lake looked kinda dangerous in the photos, Danny and Krystle remained safe throughout the shoot. Keow wee Loong noted that they certainly felt the heat from the flames surrounding them but he assured that no one got hurt that day.
In the end, the photo shoot lasted for five hours, from 6pm to 11pm. They managed to achieve what they came here for, which was to make the wedding shots look like they were taken somewhere out of this planet.
