Nineteenth Century Artifacts Found Buried In The Ground
Remember those times when you are still a little kid you probably did some digging in hopes of finding pirate treasures and probably some people are still digging hoping that they could discover valuable things.
Just like these guys Rick Weiner and Paul Seidel were digging an old 1870s cistern and they found some interesting things.
Here are the treasures they found buried in the cistern's ash layer. A cobalt beer bottle, a salt-glazed jug, a very old beer mug, and a stoneware beer bottle.
They also found an old William Ridgway "View from the Ruggles House" dinner plate and three carved pipe heads.
They didn't find anything like gold or silver coins but the things they found are very old and some of the items are dated back from the 1870s so it is still a great find.
