While most of us envision schoolyard bullying as something that only small children are forced to deal with on a daily basis, there are also adults who endure the gauntlet of mockery from their peers.
Bella Vrondos had to learn this lesson the hard way and we cannot believe that there are people in the world who would treat an innocent woman so poorly over something as simple as her choice of dress.
Bella, a 33-year-old mother from Mascot, Sydney, Australia, is your regular, everyday mom. But her life does come with one unique twist that can sometimes attract negative attention.
She’s a boutique owner who also works as a glamour model. She loves her fake tans, shiny eye shadow colors and prides herself on staying totally up to date on all of the latest trends.
She's Mom to 9-year-old Alyssa, 8-year-old Kiera, and 6-year-old Connor, the blonde beauty says she is constantly bullied and harassed by other parents over the way she looks.
Regarding her style, Bella tells Caters Real Life:
“I love Kim Kardashian, she’s sexy but classy. I love wearing whatever she wears but I’m never distasteful, my hair and makeup are always done. Dressing up and doing my makeup makes me feel good about myself.”
“I’m not included in any of the mum’s groups or cliques. A lot of criticism is from social networks and I always get taunts online from younger people.”
Recently, one parent posted a photo of her in an innocent beige dress that went viral. Bella finally had enough of the bullying and took to Caters Real Life to speak out.
“People were commenting saying I had my boobs out and shouldn’t have worn that dress.”
She’d been accused of receiving plastic surgery in order to resemble a porn actress, but in reality, Bella simply wanted to restore her pre-pregnancy body. In her mind, being a mother is not about stifling every aspect of your self being. She let the haters know that her children love her just the way that she is and that she will never stop being herself…no matter what they have to say about her.
“I didn’t get plastic surgery to look like a porn star but because I’ve had three kids and my body totally deformed- I did it to be happy and feel confident with my body.
Being a mum doesn’t mean you have to give up your whole self being; I am trying to create awareness about that…
My children love me the way I am. If I was to change my appearance then I wouldn’t be their mum — I wouldn’t be me.”
