But for this couple, they actually tell when this happened in their lives, and they can even prove it with photographic evidence.
A girl named Verona Kiliqi, who lives in London but is originally from Kosovo, was vacationing with her family in Montenegro when she was just a child when the photo was taken. Years later, when her fiance Mirand Buzaku looked at the picture in her childhood home, he noticed a boy in a floatation device in the background.
After looking more closely, he was convinced that the little boy who floating in the photo was him. It seems that years before they even met, they couple went on the same holiday, at the same place, went to the same beach, and was amazingly photographed in the same time.
"He noticed the kid in the back had the same short, shorts and floaty as him," Verona said.
"We analyzed further and confirmed with family members with family members that it's him photo-bombing my family photo."
The couple was amazed at the coincidence at first, but after talking to Buzaku's family, they confirmed that they were indeed in the same place when the picture was taken.
The two never actually met as children and it wasn't until the summer of 2016 that the couple's paths crossed again in Kosovo.
A year later, they were engaged. After veron shared this story in her Instagram account, veron's post garnered over 32 thousand likes and 300 comments.
