Recently, Police in Malaysia have quashed rumors that a very bizarre cat-like creature with a human head been discovered in a remote region after videos and photographs of the creature went viral online.
Based on report, the footage reportedly taken in the Pahang area of western Malaysia shows pink-skinned creature with four limbs, sharp claws, a human-like head, and two long fangs.
According to the Daily Mirror, state police chief Datuk Rosli Abdul Rahman threw cold water on the alleged find, saying that the photographs are "not real" apparently, the images of the alleged human-cat hybrid had created quite a stir in Malaysia.
Rahman explained the fakery, "checks revealed the images were downloaded from the internet before it was share on social media, claiming that the discovery was made in Pahang."
"I hope the public will stop circulating news about the alleged discovery," he added.
The pictures are thought to be a variation of the "sillicon baby warewolf toy," which is sold online.
Malaysian Police say no actual sighting of the supposed creature beyond the online images online have been reported.
