Instead Of Praises This Woman Was Criticized After Trying To Save A Man's Life
The girl on top of the patient performing CPR is 20-Year-Old Peeraya Saena and is now being criticized by many people and some calling it 'inappropriate' way of performing CPR.
On many reports, it is said that the man's pulse had stopped following a freak fire in Chan Road Soi 51, Thailand. Dr. Withawat Siriprachai the one who attended to the victim at the hospital, that claimed that the man suffered from a certain kind of seizure, and the man has diabetes which made the situation much worse.
A patient is a 60-year-old man named Aran Inthirom, who lost consciousness after trying to save many items during the fire. That's when Saena comes in, she was called because they needed her help and without any further delay she immediately ran to the scene and performed CPR.
Saena received her first aid training and this meant that she has the expertise in performing CPR.
But instead of praises, she earned criticism for her brave act.
Saena said, “It was important to keep the CPR going all the way to the ambulance so I jumped on top,” she added. “Of course the proper way to do CPR is at the side of the victim but that couldn’t be done in this case. I didn’t think for one moment how it looked – I just wanted to get a pulse and save that man’s life”.
Unfortunately, the 60-year-old man passed away at the Chareon Krung hospital.
