According to the science, our body needs to be at a particular temperature to get a sound sleep. So the trick to falling asleep is to simply stick your foot outside your blanket. We are not kidding! Your body is more awake when it’s hot and heavy-eyed when it’s cold. According to Natalie Dautovich, a spokesperson for the National Sleep Foundation and psychology professor at the University of Alabama, told New York Magazine “our feet are the perfect tools to bring down the temperature of the body because they are hairless and have the right vascular structures that help in dispersing heat”.



Dautovich also told that “Sticking your toe out, or your foot out, could bring you to a more restorative sleep.” So next time when you are trying to get a sleep do try this hack of sticking your foot out of blanket along with taking hot showers or drinking warm milk before bed because the ways get the body to cool down.
