Girlfriend Of Korean Contestant Kim Jiwan On PGT Finally Speaks Up - Boy Trending
Last Saturday, the action star Robin Padilla became the headlines on social media and being called racist after forcing a Korean contestant to speak in Tagalog during Saturday's episode of Pilipinas Got Talent.
The Korean contestant named Kim Jiwan asked one of the judges, Robin, to help in with his card trick. But the 48-year-old action star refused and saying Kim should speak in Filipino.
"Iho, Pilipinas Got Talent. Magtagalog ka kasi magmumukha kaming katawa-tawa kung mag e-English kami dito para sa'yo. Pilipinas got Talent. Magtagalog ka, iho," Robin said.
The action of Robin Padilla receive negative comments from the viewers and called him rude and racist. However, some netizens might understand the point of the actor.
Recently, the girlfriend of the Korean PGT contestant named Jessamyn Aubrey Sy finally speaks up about the issue.

"First of all, in behalf of Jiwan and I, we want to say thank you for those who believed in Jiwan and for the people who keeps supporting Jiwan. We really appreciate it and he is really happy for the overwhelming support he is getting. :)
Second, I just want to share how PGT affected our relationship and I hope this will be a somewhat of an inspiration to other relationships. Jiwan is a very dedicated person when it comes to his passion. When he joined PGT, he was very focused on practicing. Being with him 24/7, I had to listen to him practice, fail and try again. I would even complain to my mom about how hard it was for me. People thinks that it's easy but it's not. To stay with him on his lowest was really challenging and I'm glad I did. Point is that you should be patient with your man (or your girlfriend) if they want to achieve something. Don't be a hindrance and just let him fly. At the end of the day, it would be worth it. "
