John Carlo "JC" Barreras Tiuseco was born in Manila, son of James Tiuseco, a businessman, and his wife Rosemarie Barreras a registered nurse and businesswoman. He achieved the fame after he joined in the GMA's competitive reality television series Survivor Philippines and he was named as the "1st Grand Winner".

He became famous and familiar as he appeared in numerous shows and TV dramas including, Full House, Temptation OF Wife, Adarna, The Half Sisters, Destiny Rose and Mulawin vs Ravena.

JC Tiuseco also works as a model. In 2007, he landed a spot as one of Cosmopolitan Magazine's 69 Hot Bachelors.


Recently, GMA Network Entertainment spotted him hanging out with a woman and two children outside the country.

On his Instagram, the Kapuso actor shares some photos of him with a woman named Maria Dorotan and two children and he was very close to them on the photos, sparking speculations that he might be a father now.

 According to a source, the named of the two children on his picture is Irie and Ila.
