Rare Stamps Found Sitting In The Attic For More Than 100 Years


Who would have thought that these stamps could worth a fortune? The stamps were originally bought by an English missionary in Shanghai in 1882 and after 100 years it was found in an unusual place. These Chinese stamps were found in an old cigar box in the attic of a property in the Cotswolds.

Allan Grant is the winning bidder of these stamps he spent a total of £79,000. Mr. Grant now plans to sell the stamps overseas and the said stamps are now set to fetch at least £250,000 in the auction.

Now Mr. grant the winning bidder has now gone into partnership with co-chairman of U.S.-based Daniel Kelleher Auctions Larry Gibson to sell the rare stamps in Hong Kong where it should fetch £250,000.

Larry Gibson said that "'It is absolutely amazing. I have never known anything like it. I think bidding will easily be in excess of £250,000."
