Ruru Madrid rose to fame in Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break. He was a Second-year high school student when he joined to the talent search. In 2016, Ruru played the roled of Ybarro/Rama Ybrahim in the television remake of GMA Network's Encantadia.
Rere Madrid is only 16-year-old and her talent is singing.
Ruru Madrid also wants his sister to continue studying despite entering showbiz, to love her craft and to remain modest.
The kapuso actor said, "For mer, ayoko pa talaga kasi nga medyo mahirap talaga ang showbiz pero as long as she's doing her studies at the same time, bast 'wag niya lang itigil, okay lang yun."
"Basta gusto ko makita sa kaniya na magiging love niya yung craft niya, magiging love niya yung pagiging aktor."
"Medyo, kahit na sa pananamit lang medyo conservative ako when it comes to girls, kahit na sa mga kapatid ko, ayoko sila nagsusuot ng maiiksi."
Ruru also asked if he is also worried in case his sister Rere gets a lot of suitors, Ruru answers: "Nandito naman ako para saluhin muna yung mga.. (Suitors)."
