Golden Nugget Found On Beach That Cost A Lot Of Wealth
Vincent Thurkettle a gold prospector is the one who found the golden nugget that is about the size of a small hen's egg and the treasure is weighing 97.12g (£50k). This one nugget triggered other treasure hunters to find the long-lost haul of gold that amounts to £120million because it is thought that the treasure he found is thought to be a part of a treasure trove that has sunk to the bottom of the sea with the Royal Charter when it was shipwrecked during a devastating hurricane in 1859.

The golden nugget was found five meters below the water and around 40 meters from the famous Royal Charter shipwreck.

The gold prospector notified the Receiver of Wreck about the golden nugget he found near the shipwreck and is now a piece of property of the Crown and is being kept in a safe place until it eventually goes on display in a museum.
