Generous Female Approaches a Lonely Homeless Man at a Burger Joint and Changes His Life

He was weeping suffering after he was numerously robbed and also beaten up.

It is an unfortunate fact that as many people obtain richer, an increasing number of homeless individuals load the roads. With the boosting variety of homeless people, the possibilities of them surviving the roads decreases. The good news is, there are several heroes who go out of their means to help the needy.

Katy Hurst from Independence, Missouri remained in the drive-thru of her regional Burger King, when she saw an old man sobbing. She promptly acknowledged him as one of the homeless individuals residing in their location.

“I saw him crying, he broke down, and I didn’t know who this person was,” Hurst told KSHB.  “I had seen him through the community. He used to have a bike with a cart.”

“I pulled around to wait for my order and he was there and he broke down crying,” Hurst told KMBC.

Hurst says she eventually discovered the frail 57-year-old's name was Pops. Evidently, he had been burglarized and also defeated a number of times-- and currently he had nothing. But the factor behind his rips was extra heartbreaking. Hurst soon learnt that he was weeping hurting.

Pops was suffering from a broken collarbone as well as numerous ribs after being battered by unidentified punks. His injuries left him in extreme pain, yet he could not do anything to ease the hurt as he really did not have loan.

Pops after that informed Hurst that he simply desired it to end. "I simply wish to go," he said.

Hurst welcomed him back to her home, where he was supplied a dish-- a kind gesture Pops excitedly accepted. Even something as basic as a peanut butter as well as jelly sandwich implied the world to him.

“One of my favorites,” he told KMBC

However, Hurst might only do so a lot given that she had kids to look after too. That was when she started a crowdfunding page to increase money for him as well as sent him to the healthcare facility to recover.

“This is Pops!  He’s a sweet man down on his luck,” Hurst wrote. “He currently lives in a homeless community where he’s been robbed and beaten several times.  Pops needs our help to show him that this world is still full of good people!”
