Family Lopez Found A Box Full Of Mystery While Cleaning Their Attic
It's only natural to clean your house once in a while especially the attic. But what is not natural is finding a box containing a hand, a wedding photo, a treasure map, and gold coins.
The family Lopez didn't expect to uncover this treasure. Mike Lopez said that his sister wasn't expecting that a box will contain such mystery.
He spoke to the local TV news network WFLA about the discovery. What gave interest to the story is that the map they found contains the name of the infamous mythical pirate "Gaspar".
Jose Gaspar was known by his nickname Gasparilla is a famed pirate that is a very popular tale who have roamed and plundered many bases.
But sad to say that what the family Lopez had found wasn't a treasure map but a plat map from the 1920s with local streets, businesses, and landmarks from that time clearly depicted.
The origin of the hand remained a mystery, though the curator of the history center opined that it might be a mummified monkey hand.
John Gomez allegedly exploits alongside Jose Gaspar, with some claiming that Gomez was the pirate's cabin boy, while other stated that he was the Floriblanca's first mate, and some claimed that he was Gaspar's brother-in-law.
