Do you Remember Lyca Gairanod? Here She is Now!

Lyca Gairanod or simply Lyca became famous as the little girl in the trending video, who sang
Aegis songs in the streets. Gairanod rose to popularity when she was discovered to have a
great voice helping her parents sell goods for their livelihood.

After her viral video trended, she then auditioned for the initial installation of The Voice
Philippines Kids. While she was arguably not the best overall singer and performer, Lyca
Gairanod drew support from her followers because of her backstory. As part of Team Sarah,
she managed to make it one round after the other and at the end of the competition, she was
declared as The Voice of the Philippines Kids winner

In the competition, she won over Fil-Canadian Darren Espanto, who was the favorite to win
the title. Espanto came in second and had produced very promising albums right after.
Gairanod also won over third placer JK Labajo, who does not only sing but is also part of
several soap operas and TV shows these days.

After the competition, Gairanod’s star suddenly dimmed and a lot of people are wondering if
she still has gigs and shows. Apparently, The Voice of the Philippines became a big hit and
several winners have been declared but Gairanod seems to have lost her sparkle.

So, when Facebook page, Tee Radio, posted this, a lot of people were shocked with the golden
voice’s transformation. Dubbed as the Little Nora Aunor, Lyca is now a teenager and has
definitely blossomed from her ‘yagit’ days.
