Footage of the said mysterious tree has been circulating online leaving many shocked but others less convinced. It is unknown what exactly the tree is as details of the story are quite insufficient.

The footage showing the tree’s produce has divided people on social media, leaving some amazed while others are less convinced.

According to Thai folklore, a god named Indra planted the trees in a forest called Himaphan so the creatures could protect his wife. The trees are known as the Nariphon and is believed to bear the fruit of young female creatures.

The story goes that Buddhist God Indra a home in the forest for his wife Vessantara and his two children.

But when Vessantara went out into the forest to collect food, she was in danger of being attacked by terrifying male creatures.

Indra then created 12 special Nariphon trees which would bear fruit in his wife’s image to distract the creatures while she picked her own food.

The men would take these fruits back to their homes and after making love to them would sleep for four months, and lose their powers.

There are said to be a number of Nariphon pods stored in Luang Pho Jarun at Wat Ampawan In Singburi Buddhist temple near Bangkok.

But interest in the Nariphon trees has led to a number of hoaxes, leading many to believe that this lates footage is fake.
